About the Event
Black-and-white thinking, also known as all-or-nothing thinking, is a cognitive distortion where people see situations in extremes. This mindset can limit perspective and create anxiety and/or stress. Finding the grey means embracing nuance, understanding that most situations exist on a spectrum, and recognising that multiple truths can coexist.
By shifting to a more balanced mindset, we open ourselves to greater flexibility, empathy, and problem-solving abilities. At this week's forum, we will look at ourselves and how our default system of thought works.
