About the Event
We are programmed/conditioned from an early age to look a particular way, act a particular way, and often meet other people’s expectations.
Perfectionism makes it hard for us to show up authentically because we’re so focused on pleasing, perfecting, and proving ourselves. However it is pointless striving to become someone you’re not. No one is perfect... in fact what is perfect? Imperfection is normal.
We judge ourselves, often very harshly, for having flaws, things about ourself that we don’t like and for being “imperfect” for in fact being human! Instead of bringing attention to your weaknesses, accept them as gifts to grow learn and transform into being whole. Accepting yourself completely knowing you possess a combination of all qualities is to become whole. Total self acceptance without criticism is the greatest gift we can offer to ourself.
In this weeks session we will continue looking at how to switch off the negative judgemental voice and instead learn to embrace all facets of ourself, letting go of identifying yourself as inadequate and rejoicing in who your are.
